Based around London, Rob Northcott is a classically trained composer, orchestrator and performer specialising in neo-classical concert works as well as music for video games, film and TV. He has also recorded albums under the name Spooky Castle Music.
Recent projects include recording orchestral works at Abbey Road Studios, ambient album Galaxy on Glass and electroacoustic commissions for Collective31 and New York director Max Rothman.
Rob writes for several publishers and his music is featured on the world's leading networks including BBC, ITV and Sky.
Rob studied for both his BA and MA in Music at the University of Bristol. Rob's diverse musical background as a classically trained pianist, chorister, guitarist and flautist, as well as electronic producer, means he can expertly compose in a wide variety of musical genres.
Rob currently sings with the London Philharmonic Choir, performing under the baton of the world's leading conductors in celebrated venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall.
